St. Louis Voices Academy's Board of Directors made the decision to delay the opening of the school until Fall 2023. We recognize that opening this Fall was quite ambitious, and we worked diligently to meet all benchmarks. With all of our efforts, we believe that a rush to open would not provide the exemplary experience we promised in our early conversations with potential families, community leaders, and early supporters of our work.

This week Ms. Taylor, Educator in Residence, canvassed in the Hyde Park community to spread the word about St. Louis Voices Academy.

The SLVA team had a great time with families during our February Family Engagement Events at Coachlite Skating Rink.

ST. LOUIS (January 11, 2022) – Today, the Missouri State Board of Education approved an innovative new public charter school to provide a high-quality educational option in north St. Louis. St. Louis Voices Academy of Media Arts will enroll kindergarteners and first graders in its first year and add one grade level a year through fifth grade, and is free and open to all via lottery.
